First, soak the dates in warm water for 1-2 hours. After soaking, remove the pits and chop the dates. Then, add the chopped dates into a food processor with the remaining caramel layer ingredients (unsweetened almond milk, vanilla, and 1/4 tsp sea salt) and blend until smooth. Set aside the caramel layer. In a separate blender, mix together the nice cream ingredients: 3 frozen bananas, 3 tbsp cashew butter, and a sprinkle of sea salt, and blend until creamy. Add the blended nice cream to a bowl and swirl in the prepared caramel layer.
