Pulled Chicken Sandwiches with Pickle Slaw
20 mins prepServes 6
Slow-cooked pulled chicken served on @daveskillerbread Burger Buns Done Right, topped with a refreshing homemade pickle slaw. This easy recipe uses organic ingredients for a flavorful and satisfying meal.
Place chicken in a 6-quart slow cooker. Add in the cayenne pepper, brown sugar, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, melted butter, and chicken broth. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours. Remove cooked chicken from the slow cooker and shred with two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir.
For the pickle slaw, combine all of the ingredients (coleslaw, diced sweet onion, chopped pickles, mayo, pickle juice, garlic, dill, and salt) together in a large bowl and stir well, making sure all of the coleslaw is coated. Cover and refrigerate the slaw while the chicken cooks (at least 2 hours, up to 4).
Serve the pulled chicken on top of Dave's Killer Bread Burger Buns Done Right, topped with the pickle slaw, and enjoy!
