1. Cut mozzarella sticks into 4 pieces each. Roll out pizza dough and cut into 32 even squares.
2. Add a little pesto + 1 piece of mozzarella to each square and roll into a ball.
3. Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined pan in the shape of a Christmas tree.
4. Brush with egg wash and bake at 400°F for 15–17 minutes until golden.
5. Remove from oven.
